I have extensive skills in public relations, and a thirst for learning and trying new and creative concepts in communications. About Meredith Marie Price
I'm a Mississippi girl, living in a Michigan world. I have had the opportunity to learn so much in my field of public relations & communications. Starting off in photojournalism, then migrating to broadcast journalism, and now working in public & provider relations in healthcare, I’ve had many different experiences that have made me into the skilled professional I am today. Now, I’m looking for new challenges and hope to venture even further down my chosen career path, learning as I go.

Covering a variety of photo shoots, from action news, weddings, self-interest photo essay stories, and even the culinary scene, I followed my passion for photography to keep afloat while getting my Master Degree in Media Communications and Policy.
Producer, WNEM TV 5
September 2013 - October 2015
I produced multiple news shows ranging from 30 minute broadcasts to multiple hour broadcasts. Also, I produced live breaking news specials to more structured town hall meetings and political debates. I was in charge of pitching stories, deciding which news content would be part of my show and wrote most of the show's content. The trilling part about this job was managing anchors, reporters, live video feeds, sound bites, and getting on and off air without a hitch.

Working for a Medicare initiative worth well over 100 million dollars, my job is pretty straight forward: Help physicians manage overspending and aim for distributable savings. My day consists of networking and communicating on various platforms with providers and vendors. I help providers better manage patient lives and improve the quality of care by connecting them with the right medical vendors for services. I am responsible for educating physicians and their staff on various compliance information from Medicare. I'm mostly on the road covering all of Mid-Michigan and Southeastern Michigan. I have gained excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently, and superb organizational skills.

I’ve mostly acquired skills through my education and work experience. From learning to work independently to polishing off my time management and organizational skills, I’m definitely proud of what I have gained across the years. I must add that I am very lucky to have had the support to become a professional in my field in public relations and communications. But, I’m most proud of is my perseverance through it all.
